Our Junior PADI programs are designed to introduce young explorers to scuba diving through age-appropriate training, professional supervision, and exciting underwater experiences.
Whether it’s their very first breath underwater or the beginning of their journey as a certified diver, Atlantis is ready to guide the next generation of ocean explorers.

Turn learning to scuba dive into an underwater adventure!
The PADI Seal Team introduces young divers to scuba through exciting AquaMissions. Participants develop basic scuba skills while completing fun underwater challenges.
Activities can introduce skills and topics such as buoyancy, underwater navigation, environmental awareness and underwater photography.
Complete the AquaMissions and become part of the PADI Seal Team!

Ready to become a real certified scuba diver?
The PADI Junior Open Water Diver course gives young divers the knowledge and skills needed to become certified divers while following PADI's age-specific supervision and depth requirements.
Ages 10–11
After certification, diving is with a parent/guardian or PADI Professional within the applicable PADI limits.
Ages 12–14
After certification, diving is with a certified adult within the applicable PADI limits.
At age 15, eligible Junior Open Water Divers can transition to the standard PADI Open Water Diver certification.

Already a Junior Open Water Diver?
Young divers can continue developing their skills through eligible PADI courses and specialties.
Depending on age and prerequisites, options can include:
Junior Advanced Open Water Diver – Age 12+
Junior Rescue Diver – Age 12+
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Underwater Navigator
Digital Underwater Photographer
Fish Identification
Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver – Age 12+
and other eligible PADI specialties.
